The Mighty Clutha

Luggate boasts one of the most picturesque and stunning historic bridges in New Zealand.

The 'Grandview Bridge' was opened on October 28, 1915, and has been described as "one of the most attractively proportioned steel truss road bridges in the country." It is an iconic feature of Luggate and it is beautiful.

Bike and walking tracks

The Upper Clutha River track is one of the most beautiful bike tracks in the area. The track follows the mighty Clutha River to Albert Town and Wanaka. It joins the Newcastle Track that goes to Hawea. It is a gentle gradient, perfect for biking or walking.
